Random Acts Publishing Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By participating in The Spark Keepers Contests ("the Entrant") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before entering.

2. Eligibility

• Age Requirement: Contact information associated with the submission must be of someone at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
• Residency: The Contest is open to people residing in the United States.
• Exclusions: Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Random Acts Publishing are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Submission

• How to Enter: Entrants must complete the official submission form, providing accurate contact information, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
• Original Work: All submissions must be the Entrant's original work. Plagiarism or infringement of any third-party rights will result in disqualification.
• Number of Entries: Each Entrant may submit "one entry per category.

5. Selection of Winners

• Judging Criteria: Art Submissions will be evaluated based creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme.
• Judging Process: A panel of qualified judges selected by Random Acts Publishing will review all eligible entries. All decisions made by the judges are final.
• Random Drawings: For certain prizes, winners will be selected randomly using a reliable randomization method.

6. Winner Notification

• Notification Method: Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry.
• Response Time: Winners must respond within 15 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Prizes

• Description: Prizes include book swag, gaming consoles, gift cards, featured spots on the website and book pages. Each drawing will have varying prizes.
• Non-Transferable: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
• Delivery: Prizes will be shipped to the address provided by the winner. Random Acts Publishing is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

• Usage Rights: By entering the Contest, Entrants grant Random Acts Publishing a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display their submissions for promotional purposes.
• Moral Rights: Entrants waive any moral rights in their submissions, allowing Random Acts Publishing to modify the content as necessary, while providing appropriate credit to the original creator.

9. Data Protection

• Privacy Policy: Personal information collected during the Contest will be used in accordance with Random Acts Publishing  Privacy Policy [Provide Link].
• Third-Party Sharing: [Your LLC's Name] will not share Entrants' personal information with third parties without consent, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Assumption of Risk: By participating, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Random Acts Publishing  from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
• Technical Issues: Random Acts Publishingis not responsible for any technical malfunctions or failures that may affect the ability to enter the Contest.

11. Disqualification

• Right to Disqualify: Random Acts Publishing reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.

12. Governing Law

• Jurisdiction: The Contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.

13. Amendments

• Right to Modify: Random Acts Publishing  reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be posted on www.sparkkeepers.com
